The start of the triathlon is a 1500m swim in the Bay. I know it doesn't look particularly rough in this photo but IT WAS ROUGH AS! ...... well rougher than it normally is in the Bay and hopefully rougher than it will be in January. Got through the swim but I can't say I enjoyed it. Wasn't as freaked as I was when I swam on my own but still wasn't a pleasant experience. Maybe I'll grow to love it because I love swmming in a pool ... or maybe I won't.
