Climb to the top of the Mount

Well ......... it seemed like a good idea at the time. Quick walk up to the top of the Mount. Natashka came with us but we left the other girlies on the beach.

They thought that was the hard bit done with but my lack of local knowledge or sence of direction ensured that going down was even harder. Looking back at the map I was right that it was a shorter way down BUT it was also twice as steep and slippery and bought us out the wrong side of the base track and so we still had a 20 minute walk when we got to the bottom.

























It must have been one of the original tracks cos it was a combination of odd shaped stairs and slippery rocks. No one was impressed with my shortcut (including me!)
