Marshmallows on the camp fire

Kids loved the open fire and the chance to roast marshmallows on sticks.






Think they would have liked a few more days at the camp. They played spotlight one night which was basically hide'n'seek in the pitch darkness of the grounds of the camp using torches. Laura said it was a bit scary. Me and Jo said we wouldn't have been comfortable them doing it in the UK. Imagine letting your kid go hide in the dark of the woods ready to be sought by strangers. Yet in NZ it seemed 'normal'.
