Jo's Birthday

Me and the kids got up early this morning to put together a Birthday Breakfast for Jo. We had gone to the supermarket the night before and bought croissants and fresh orange and balloons and cheap plastic plates. Very classy affair. Kids made banners and we bought some flowers. Jo was very impressed. Had nice breakfast before school and Jo opened all her cards. I refuse to buy jewellery for her because I just have no clue to what she likes and so me and the kids put money in the card and said that Laura would take Jo out on Saturday and help her choose some nice stuff. Best if the girlies are left to shop on their own. Me and Adam can get on with some gardening or painting or something.

When I got home from work I found the kids and Jo and Mayur (the boy Jo looks after after school for a couple of hours) making and decorating party hats. Unfortunatley there wasn't enough paper for me to make one. Shame. Jo had made a pass the parcel and so they played that. I did the music. Adam did the cake and we all sang Happy Birthday. Was my kind of party :)

We all took Mayur home and then went onto the Mount to have 'Turkish to Go' on the beach. It was a really clear sky and there was a huge moon. We collected a few shells and then drove home for tea and biscuits. Kids in bed for 8:30 and we're going to sit down and watch Grey's Anatomy.

Feels like a Friday night. Shame we've all got to go to school tomorrow. Roll on the weekend and I can finish painting the house...........Yep it was a brilliant birthday.........Jo :-)
