Practice Triathlon No3

I didn't have the camera for triathlon No2. Adam won it by the touch of a hand on the ute. Triathlon No3 was a chance for Laura to get revenge.

Again she led in the swim and was out of the pool first

... but again Adam came running out first. Not the most flattering of pictures. Sorry Adam!

Laura wasn't far behind. She had got changed pool side.

Adam looked on anxiously as Laura got her helmet on and was off ...

Laura is out of T1 first

Adam struggles to get his shoes on

Laura takes off into a decent lead

... but Adam sets off in pursuit ...

... and manages to catch her about half way round

... Laura sticks close behind ... I must tell her drafting is illegal :)

Rolling into T2

... and out on the run. Adam still has a bit of a lead ...

Laura reels him in and then ....

... sits on his shoulder for the rest of the run. By the look on her face I think she's enjoying toying with Adam

Still tracking Adam

so close you can't even see her.

waiting to make her move. It was the best duel I've seen since Brown and Bell last year in Taupo :) haha

the moment Laura makes her move and passes Adam ... the joy on her face is great. Adam smiles through the struggle I think.

It's extremely close. Adam fought back and got level but Jo said that this time it was Laura's hand that touched the ute first.

Next week it's the real thing! Can't wait :)

Who needs to do triathlon when you can watch your kids do it :) haha
