Waihi Gold Mine

It was open day at the Waihi Gold Mine which is about 40mins away from us. Adam's mate Cody came wih us. It was quite impressive. There were lots of things for the kids to climb on and a chance for them to smash rocks to try to find gold. Kids loved these 'attractions' so much that we didn't get a chance to walk down the mine like the people (ants?) in the pic below. Shame :)
