Quick Update on Life in NZ

Life has been decorating, decorating and even more decorating. Room downstairs is sooooo close to being finished. Just a bit of a problem with the floor but that should be fixed early next week. Just a bit of touching up with the paintbrush and a bit of carpet laying and it'll be ready to accept guests ... well accept me and Jo cos we'll be going down there when my mum and dad arrive in three and a bit weeks.

Same ol' same ol' with Adam ... he's representing the school at the finals of the speech comp again. We're going on Tuesday so stand by for pics and maybe a video. Laura has made the netball team and she's in a competition next Friday so again I'll be going armed with my camera. Haven't posted pics since I lost the vote on whether to use 'slideshows'. That of course is just a coincidence. Not that I've been sulking ... haha :)

We're all well although Jo, Laura and Adam have had various bouts of colds and sore throats over last three weeks. I have managed to stay clear with a combination of multi-vitamin tablets, kiwi fruit (Vitiman C) and not getting anywhere near any of them. I've started my proper training for my half ironman (www.sub6.blogspot.com) so I can't afford to get ill.

Weather has been wet and windy for the most part and we are all looking forward to better weather when my parents get here. I've ordered sunshine and light winds but we'll have to see. This was the weather last year in September.


OK ... better go and get some more painting done :)
