School Art Expo

I was supposed to go to the kid's art expo after seeing the kids teacher's at open evening BUT Laura got sick and although I lost loads of brownie points with Adam I got Jo to go to the school to talk to the teachers while I looked after Laura. I made up for it (sort of) by visiting the school in my lunch hour the next day. It was the same day as the 2 minute silence in respect for the child that was abused and killed by her family. I turned up at the school as all of the children were making a circle around the whole school field.

I joined in. It was a very moving experience holding hands with Adam and thinking about the child abuse that seems to go on so much in NZ.

The kid's were really good and respected the silence.

It was then off to see the art work. Adam and Katy were chosen to pose for the local newspaper photo for the exhibition and they recreated the shot for me. The actual shot used in the paper is even 'cornier' and more staged than this one. Adam is such a poser!

Don't think I need to write anything. This is visual art after all ....
